MOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
VARIOUS MEASURES,
The House met at 2.30 when the following Bills were introduced and read a first time: —Victory Park (Dr. Thacker), and Police Offences Amendment (Hon. W. F. Massey). The Chattels Transfer Amendment, Public Authorities (Party Wall) Empowering Bill, and the Official Appointments and Documents Bill, were put through all stages and passed. WOMEN'S RIGHTS. The Women's Parliamentary Rights Bill was also passed through all stages by the unanimous vote of the House. POLICE AND PUBLIC TRUST. The Public Trust Office Amendment Bill was read a second time, as was the Police Force Amendment Bill. EDUCATION BILL. Sir James Allen moved the second reading of the Education Amendment Bill pro forma and had it referred to the Education Committee. A BRIDGE BILL. The Manawatu Gorge Road. and Bridge Bill was read a second time. FINAL STAGES. The Public Trust Office Amendment Bill was put through the committee stage, read a third time and passed. The House then rose at 11.25 till 7.30 on Monday.—P.A.
