N.A. FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE.
NORTHERN SALES. The N.A. Farmers' Co-op. reports as follows: — On Tuesday, 10th September, we held our monthly sale at Rangiahuu. There wa s a fairly good yarding of dairy and store cattle. Best quality dairy cows brought from£9 2/U to £13 7/6; fat cows, £10 7/6 to £12 i 57; .'i-yeur steers, £10 15/; 2-year stt-ers, £6' to £7 51. On Wednesday, 17th September, we held our sale at Kaikohe. There was a good yarding of store cattle. A nice pen of 4-year steers brought £13 5/; 2_ to 3-year steers, £8 5/ to £9; 2-year heifers f £5 12/6 to £6 3/; yearlings, £2 14/,' to £3 10/. At Ohaeawai, on Thursday, 18th September, we had a full yarding of all classe s of. cattle. t A larg e number of dairy stock came forward, but were generally in low condition. Prices ranged from £7 to £11; 3year steers, £9 to £10 15/; 1_ to 2year steers, £5 5/ to £6 10/; yearlings, £2 3/ to £3 77; empty cows, £4 10/ to £8.
At Pakotai on Saturday, 20th September, we had a good yarding of cattle, and report a good sale. A line of 33 nice conditioned 4-year steers brought £12 ss; 2-year steers, £6 11/ to £7 10/.
At Towai on Saturday, 20th September, there was a good entry of dairy stock and young store cattle. Nearly everything yarded changed hands at improved prices. Dairy cows,. £9 15/ to £12; l_-year heifere £4 7/6 to £5. 9/; I_-year steers, £4 4/ to £5 15/; calves, £1 2/6 to £1 15/.
On Monday, 22nd September, we held a special cattle sale at Whananaki. There was a good yarding of young store cattle, practically everything being sold.
