BELLIGERENT IRELAND.
SMUGGLING OF MUNITIONS
A MYSTERY VESSEL,
(Received 8 a.m.)
LONDON, Sept. 1.
The Cork police have reason to believe that munitions have entered Ireland recently.
There is definite information that a vessel left London on the 27th August with a view to gun-running, but the Hampshire Coast sailed on August 18th; moreover, her description does not tally with that of the suspected vessel.—A. and N.Z.
