HUNTLY MEN'S DECISION
SOUTHERN CO-OPERATION,
AUCKLAND, This Day.
Confirmation has been received of the statement that the Huntely miners have decided to go slow. It is understood that two ballots were taken, one on the question of a strike and one on the "go slow" question. The strike proposal was rejected, and "go slow" carried by 270 votes to 70 odd.
A union report issued yesterday made no mention of the above mattors, but it, is stated that the employers' offer was unanimously refused.

The "Daily Times" is informed that the Kaitangata miners wer e advised yesterday to adopt the "go slow" policy from Monday next.
It is understood that the proposal also affects the Wairio, Nightcaps, and Green Island miners.
Peeling at Kaitangata appears divided, and it is expected that some of the miners will follow the advice and others disregard it.—Press Assn.
