STRAIGHT HINT TO TURKEY,
SOVEREIGNTY INVOLVED

According to despatches from Athens, President Wilson has sent to the Turkish Government a telegram summoning Turkey to end the Armenian massacres, threatening otherwise to cancel the second of the fourteen points guaranteeing the maintenance of Ottoman sovereignty in purely Turkish regions.—A. and N.Z.
