Pt is reported that the Japanese authorities have .begun taking over Gcr man and Austrian properties at Tsing tau.
It is understood that the Chinese Government has decided, beginning on the Ist September, to disband twenty-five thousand troops monthly, in order to retrench financially.
Plans are now being considered for an extensive reorganisation of Jie Chinese Navy, following on the eports of the Chinese naval mission which recently visited Allied countries! —A. and N.Z.
