The reply of the Peace Conference to Austria declares that Austria's pre-war debt and war expenses shall be borne pro rata by Austria and tlie countries tlhat were lately Austrian, but Austria alone shall make reparation. it is expected that Coimt Renner will sign the treaty on the 3rd September.—A. and N.Z.
