Miss Helen Keller perhaps the most remarkable woman in the world, is to act for the kinema. She has been a deaf mute since her birth. Her early education was taken in hand by another remarkable woman, who eventually succeeded in teaching her to read, write, and speak. Her education was begun by associating a sip of milk with a tap on the hand. From this slight beginning a wonderful system of lauguage was built up, so that eventually Miss Keller taught herself to speak by feeling her teacher's throat when she was speaking.
