ANOTHER SPECIAL OCCASION
DUNEDIN, This Day
With reference to the absence of New Zealanders from the London Anzac Day March, Sir James Allen has received the following cable from the Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces in England :—"The War Office made arrangements for a Dominions' March on May 3rd, at which King Georg e is to be present. The Australians approached me at the last moment, asking me to join in the Anzac March, but in view of the official March on May 3rd, I did not consider it advisable to have two marches, and th e senior officers concurred." —Press Assn.
