MILTON BURGLARY SEQUEL
MOST OF LOST RESTORED.
OAMARU, May 3.
A smart arrest was effected by Constable Palmer, of the local police staff this morning, in connection with'the safe robbery at Milton post office. Advice was received at 10.30 o'clock yesterday of a number of notes having been stolen, and about noon Constable Palmer arrested Victor Keen, 25 years of age, a horse.trainer, and native of Milton. Keen arrived in Oamaru by the late train on Thursday night, and cashed a £10 note with a carrier, and this led tp his arrest. The constable recovered £395 of the missing: .pioney.—Press
