PLAISTED has leased the Classic Imported Clydesdale Stallion Mounjoy and will travel the Whangarei district. 1918 Mounjoy has been Ist and Champion two years in succession at Whangarei and second at Auckland last year, beating the famous horse Daeotah. And the January number of the 'New Zealand Farmer," 1918, says: "In our opinion the second-prize horse, Mounjoy, ought to have been First and Champion. He may not be as big as the champion, but he is a beautifully balanced horse, well coupled, and altogether a grand type, with the best feet, ankles, and legs of any horse exhibited."
