Captain Parrotti, of the s.s. Kanieri, is at present in charge of the Rimu on the West Coast trade.
The Rev. W. E. Lambert left by the Manaia yesterday for Wellington to attend the- annual conference of the Baptist Union.
Mr G. Rout, chief steward of the Kanieri, has not yet sufficiently recovered from his illness to resume duty. Mr Long, of the Manaia, is taking the relief.
