SOLICITOR OBTAINS EXPENSES

McLaughlin, a solicitor, has ob- | tamed a verdict for £82 against the estate of the late Les Darcy, the well-known boxer, for expenses connected with a visit to Melbourne on Darcy's behalf with a view to securing regular permission for him to proceed to America on a boxing .tour. Meantime Darcy, whp was [just on recruiting age, departed'for America sureptitously.
The defence pleaded that Darcy was a minor.—A.Yand'-N.Z.
