MAUNGAKARAMEA
The social arrange! by the members of the local ladies' hockey team, passed off very successfully on Friday last. The public hall had been nicely decorated for the occasion with evergreens, and there was a good attendance, a number coming from Maungatapere, Waikiekie and Ruakaka. Dancing was the main attraction, the Misses C. Crawford and Vivian Child acting as M.C.'s. Songs were contributed by Miss May Child and Mr Dave O'Carroll. The dance I music was supplied by Miss Vera Child and Miss Downs.
