MARTON, Dec. 28. An elderly Maori named Poneke died at Palmerston Hospital last night as the result of a motor-cycle with a side-car running over a bank on Mt. Stewart, near Sanson. The MaoH sustained a fractured skull. The accident occurred through the relist trying to avoid a collision.
