Professor Yapp's rationing scheme proposes 81b of bread a week for men and 51b for women engaged in heavy industrial or agricultural work, 71b and 41b respectively for ordina-y manual workers, 4y 2 lb and 3 ] /_lb for sedentary workers and domestics. In addition, all workers will receive 12oz of cereals other than bread, 21b of meat, lOoz of 'butter or fats,"-and Soz" sugar.
