Australian and N.Z. Cable Association

(Press Assn. —Reed. 9.25 p.m.)

LONDON, November 12

The "Daily Telegarph's" Rotterdam correspondent reports that Genlerals Hindenburg Ludendorff are scheming vigorously for prosecution of the war, and are indifferent to the controversies raging over the shuffling of Government offices. Coupled with a great winter effort to increase the output of war material, General Hindenburg is initiating a further development of man-power. The local authorities of Austria and Germany are now empowered to call up men between the .ages of seventeen and sixty, thus completely overhauling the remaining man-power. Attempts at evasion of service are punishable by six months' imprisonment or a fine of ten thousand marks.
