BAYONETS CLEAR THE COURSE

LONDON, November 12. -An Egyptian Headquarters report says:—"Our advance has now reached the Wady Hakaner, where the Turks are reported to be holding the northern bank.
"Tho euemy made a brief stand on a ridge north of Beitourah and checked our cavalry, but was dislodged by a bayonet charge by the Scottish troops.
"The Turkish losses since the beginning of the month are estimated at twelve thousand in killed, wounded,
and prisoners."
