(By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 20. The House met yosterday at 2.30 p.m. Replying to Mr Wilford, the Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald said that the increase in the price of coal was due to a variety of causes, including increases m pay given to miners, wharf labourers, and men at the depots, and the rise in freights. He was going to look mto the question. Replying to Mr Witty, the Premier said that he had not heard a rumour that some, of the ships promised for New Zealand- had been diverted by the Imperial authorities
