Mr Will Thome, M.P., speaking at Hull, said he expected that in a short time a big Russian offensive would be going. The Russians would walk •through the Germans and Austrians, unless 200,000 Germans returned from the West front. In that case th-ire was a possibility of the war collapsing before Christmas.
