PARLIAMENT. AND THE HUPMOBILE. In the recent Parliamentary Tour of the Northern Districts, Hupmobiles distinguished themselves for reliability and comfort. They took every obstacle and on the whole tour, not one stoppage was recorded through Hupp failure. Between Herekino and Broadwood was a very bad piece of road, and here a Hupp was the only one of 23 cars to get through the mud on its own power. All the other makes had to be assisted by twenty to thirty members of the party with the aid of ropes. This is further proof of the superiority of the Hupp engine—known as the "lugging type." As a Hupp handbook says it is "designed for hard and heavy road work—mud and sand pulling. Built for touring use," See a Hupmobile £430 complete at main ports.
