A HEAVY INTERCHANGE.
(Australian and N.Z. etc. and Reutef.) LONDON, December 13. Sir Douglas Haig reports: "We carried out successful mining operations southward of Ypres. The enemy con. tinues artillery fire and trench mortaring opposite Festubert and Nouve Chapelle. An enemy ammunition dump at Vimy was fired. We bombarded retaliatorily on the enemy's support line northward of the Ancre." 'f\ Paris official report says: "South of the'Somme there is brisk reciprocal artillery firing in the ißiaches and La Masionette sectors."
