(Press Assn.—Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 8. It is stated that an Allied naval force landed at Syra and replaced the functionary police. They arrestsd several suspects and are ensuring tranquility. The "Daily Chronicle's" Piraeus correspondent adds: The Greek military party is full of determination and convinced of success. The party of treachery is absolutely unrepentant and further parley will only lead to fresh deception and tragedy. Every fresh fact throws into stronger relief King Constantine's hideous treachery. It is necessary to insist on these points because the Greek censorship has prevented earlier messages. King Constantine now openly appears what he always has been secretly, viz., a faithless deceiver and trickster. It is unthinkable that the Royal militarist regime can longer be tolerated, specially as General Sarrail's fears of the Greek army in his rear have been shown to be fully justified.
