KNIGHT OF WAjR'BA is a shapely, stoutly-bred brown horse, and he possesses all the best characteristics of his herd. He has splendid feet, rare quality bone, beautiful feather, and is as clean and even in his action as a thoroughbred. He was bred by Mr A. Alexander, Hirstland, Taranaki (one of the best judges of Clydesdales in the Dominion), who retained him for use in his own stud till this season. -Knight of the Thistle (10.759 Vol. 22, 5.C.5.8.) was nred by Win. Agness. Esq., and was purchased by Mr A. Alexander when on a visit to Scotland. Handsome Prince (Knight of the Thistle's sire) is by th,. world renowned Prince of Wales (073, 5.C.5.8.) who was recognised as the greatest Clydesdale of last century. He was only leased for the season for £1000 and his fee was 40 guineas a mare. TERMS: Single mare 3 guineas, payable Ist .January; two or nior c by arrangement. Good grazing will be provided for mares at 1/6 per head per week. Every care will be taken of mares left to graze, but no responsibility will be accepted. For any further particulars apply to— J.
