L'EUTENANT I.AMBIE SHOT. CHRISTCHURCH, December 4. Lieut. George S. Lambie, Adjutant of the Thirteench Regiment of North laiiterbury and Westlant'., of the Permanent Staff cf the Defence Force, was accidentally shot on Sunday near Culvcraen by James Wynyard Davis..u, with whom he w:-?s rabbit shoot iiuy. lie was a son of Mr G. S. Lambie. for many years local imi.iage' - of the Union Steamship Compiny, and was aged 2.ii. lie could not. get to the front, and took a position on the permanent staff. He was previously a master of Christ's College.
