THE STRUGGLE FOR ROUMANIA
The reconstruction of the British Cabinet, which is reported in to-day's cables,- shows a general dissatisfaction in Imperial circles with th« conduct of the wan It seems probable that Mr Asquifh will not retain the Premiership, but there is no ground for anxiety. The recon. structfon promises to bring a more tigorous spirit into the conduct of the war.
The situation in Grece is not promising. The treacherous attack upon the Allies has shown what the spirit of (lie Royalist party in (Athens amounts to. It is stated that the Allies will demand full reparation for all recent" acts of duplicity. The Roumanian position appears to have sUglitly improved.
