King Constantine will agree to the surrender of six batteries of mountain guns if Admiral de Founiet wil! agree t6 immediately withdraw ail Allied troops, except tlie guard of 000 at Zapaneron. The arrangement lias been referred to the Entente Governments. Exciting scenes occurred befovo the announcement of the King's surrender. Greek troops attemptea to prevent the Allies passing certain , I points and there were collisions and ' i rifle firing which continued all the afternoon; also a lively fusilade between the Royalists and Venizelists and guns boomed at intervals. Th's was said to indicate that the French were bombarding- the hill behind the palace and a great panic prevailed.
