He has splendid feet, rare quality bone, lnautiful feather, and is us clean and even in his action as a thoroughbred. Me was bred by Mr A. Alexander, Hirstland, Taranaki (one of the best judges of Clydesdales in the Dominion), who retained him for use in his own stud rill this season. Knight of the Thistle (10,789 Vol. 22, 5.C.5.13.) was Dred by Wm. Agness, Esq., and was purchased by Mr A. Alexander when on a visit to Scotland. Handsome Prince (Knight of the Thistle's sire) is by thp world renowned Pritme of Wales (liTi , ,, 5.C.5.8.) who was recognised as the greatest Clydesda'e of last centu.ry. He was only leased for the season for £1000 and his fee was -JO guineas a mare. TERMS: Single mare 3 guineas, payable Ist January; two or mor e by arrangement.
