The man who never asks for trade By local line or ad. displayed, (.'ares more for rest than worldly gain, And patronape but j>'ives him pain: Tread lightly, friends, lot no rude sound Disturb bis solitude profound. Here let him live in culm repose, Unsought except by man he owes, And when he dies, ;:o plant him deep, That nouvlit mv.y break his dreamless bleep Where no rude clamour may dispel The quiet that lie loved so well. And that the world may know its loss, Place on his grave a wreath of moss, And on the stone above, "Here lies A chump who wouldn't ailverti.se."
