LONDON, November 29,
In the House of Lords, Lord Charles Beresford, asking whether opinions would be taken before a peace conference was held, sakl that those participating in the conference should be the mouth-piece of the whole Empire, Baron Islington, replying, repeated Mr Harcourt's assurance of April 1915 that the colonies would be fully consulted, but owing to the exigencies of war the arrangement of such a conference was somewhat uncertain. If possible the Premiers would not only be consulted, but considerable opportuinty would be..given them to attend the conference before negotiations were opened The Anzac Bill has been passed.
