BLACKBALL MINERS OUT.

WELLINGTON, November 30.
'Advices were received in Welling, ton last night stating that the Blackball miners had decided to strike in opposition to the Conscription Act. They demand its repeal before resuming; also an increase in the minimum wage of 17% per cent. It is understood the strike does not meet with the approval of the Miners' Federation which has instructed the ; Blackball miners to resume work and has taken steps to prevent'- Strike spreading.
