THE TRAITOR McBRIDE,
(Press Assn.—Reed. 8.15 p.m.)
•LONDON, May 7.
Dublin his returned to normal. The hotels remain closed until Tuesday. Distress has arisen among soldiers' wives who are unable to obtain allowances owing to documents being burned in the barracks. It is expected a grant of several thousands from the Prince of Wales' fund will give prompt relief.
Mcßride was known as a major. He organised an T rish corps and fought with the Boers. Since then he has been an inspector of water works in Dublin and used his influence to nullify the recruiting -campaign. His wife, with Fenian sympathy, obtained a separation in France in 1905, describing her husband as an incorrigible drunkard and rake. Mcßride habitually referred to his son as 'the future president of Independent Ireland.
