. The House met-at 2.30. The Devonport Borough Vesting ! Bill (Mr Harris) was read a first time. The Premier laid on the table the annual report of the Public Service Superannuation Board. Mr Wilford moved the second reading of the State Advances Amendment Bill, making compulsory borrowers from State institutions to insure in the State fire office. Tho proposed measure was "-supported by Sir Joseph Ward and opposed by Mr Allen. The debate continued until the 5.30 adjournment. The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. and the debate on Mr Wilford's Bill was continued for over three hours when th e second reading was carried on the voice?. , *- . n ...tstrial Unions and Trade Unions Enabling BUI • (Mr was read a'second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes.and Pension Committee. HOSPITAL SHIP. The Minister of Publia Health stated, a case of measles had broken out on the hospital Ship-Maheno and the man had been landed at Adelaide and his mate isolated. It was hoped the disease would not spread. The House rose at 11.20.
