PERSONAL.
Mr E. G. W. Tibbits left Whangarei for Auckland to-day as delegate from the local branch to the annual meeting of the Auckland Province Auctioneers' Association. Mr A. R. Crane, who is a member of the Auckland executive, also left to-day.
■Private A. L. Dixon, late clerk to the Whangarei Borough Osuncil, arrived iv Whangarei from Trentham to-day." Private c - w - Foote, Helena Bay, also arrived. Both are on sick leave. Private Dixon has been ill a week, being.taken sick, the night before the partial evacuation of Trentham as a camp. Seventy-five per cent, of the Whangarei boys who left the town with the last batch have been sick.
