Another budget of news from Mr Ashniead Bartletl states that the Allies have been entirely successful with another forward movement in Gallipoll. They have captured nnother mile oi the Gully Kiivine which constitutes an important advance. A fierce battle is raging on the Vistula. Th e Russians are fighting with great valour and stiibboriiess, but they appear to be everywhere giving ground. The German advance, however, is at a terrible, cost in lives. The Italiaus have succeeded in winning , two positions dominating , the railway junction giving communication with Gorizia. Bombardments and trench fighting continue on the Western front, but the French have more than held their own. Kitchener's new army is getting its first baptism of fire. There is no improvement in the position of the coal strike in Wales.
