ROUND WORMS IN HORSES.
A good remedy for round worms in
hoi-f-es, timv- years ami over, is as follov.'h: — Fas-'i the pu/.ient during the night and next mo'nmij,' give, well mixed in three double handfuls of dry bran, live grains of arst.mioiis acid, l\_ drams of powdered sulphate of iron, and Y_ dram of powdered mix vomica. Repeat fhi.s treatment each morning lor a week, and then give !VaOZ of turpontine ami a pint, of raw Jiiisseed oii, well shaken together. Before administering this dose, however, fast the horse for 24 hours. Turpeutitic mixtures should be gives! very caret'iilly. should the horse cougii or attempt to do ho. lower the head at once. Never drench through 1»e nostrils or hold tho tongue whiist drenching an animal.
