BOWLING.
A number of very interesting games were played on the Whangarei Bowling Green yesterday. A visiting team from Hikurangi inflicted defeat on the Whangarei team. The most interesting game of the season was played—tho President's Fours, for the medals presented by the President, Mr J. Horn, who is no en route to Europe. Following are the Testilts:—
Singles: First Year's Championship. —Allan 22 v Colebrooke 0. First Year's Singles,, final.—Allan 20 v Colebrooke 11. Champion singles, semi-finals (Saturday).—McGregor 23 v Pearce 18.
Pairs: Francis and Massey (Holders) 14, v Courtenay and Simmons 11 (challengers).'
Ferns: Dixon, Carter, Sirl and Massey 22, ,v Reynold, Kelly, McKenzie and. Wilson 12.
Buckles: Walker, F. Eccles, A. Carter aud Francis 17, v A. 8. McKenzie, D. X. McLeod, Chissell and Simmons 13; Marshall, Williams, McLeod and Bray 23, v T W. Carter, Stallard, Willis and Massey 18.
