''^lß ' WELLINGTON, April 19. -%U The Full Court gave its reaso:ai|fH this morning for its opinion exprese-djH ed on Friday last that both the Baf|M of Islands and Taiimarunui petitions were in time. ■'<CH In the first-mentioned case Court held that the time within?iH which a petition must be presentedje —28 days—ran from the amendodJjH declaration published after the re i|H count by order of the magistrate. ,;-|fjH The Court held that the law now existing was different from th*t|S upon whidh the Wairarapa in which it was held that the time|H ran from .the endorsement of ■writ-~|H was decided, and-that that case wakjH now of no authority. ,''<~*f^| It further held that the words , Section 190 of the Legislature Actjjffl 1908, show .that the time must' ru||H from the leclaration made in Pursa||H ance of Section 49 of the Act' <*f|fl 1910, which is the -■ declaration Form No. 22 of the Schedule to ttie|H Act of 1908. • * ' "i'jß The decision on the -latter PoinifH decides the question of time in your of the petitioner in the runui case. _ ' ! ?^B The Court intimated that it give its judgment to-morrow on th'efjH question whether the roll was elusive.
