FATAL COLLISION.
NAPIER, April 8
A collision bebtween a motor cycle and a trap in Munroe street- last evening resulted in the> death of the cyclist, whose name is not known. Papers in' his possession, bore the name of Hodkins. • Later: A motor cyclist, named Augustus W. Hodgkinson, a former resident of Masterton and recently of HavelOck North, was killed as the result of a collision with a trap last night. He was riding on the wrong side of the road and swerved over to the left. Just as he reached the trap a terrific impact resulted. Hodgkinson died on his way to the hospital.
