DUNEDIN, November 27. The following resolution was passed at a meeting of the Political Labour Representation Committee last evening:— "That this committe views with alarm the press reports that only some few days' supply of flour is in hand in the Dominion, enters an emphatic protest against the apathetic attitude adopted by the Government, and at once calls on it to assume the responsibility of protecting people from the rapacity of holders of food stuffs. It f rther calls the attention of the public to the full powers conferred on the Government by regulation made in the Commerce Act to seize flour or other food stuffs for any purpose, including sale to the pablic."
