MAIR'S POOL AND BATHING.
"Observer" writes as follows:—
"Some stupid person or persons have demonstrated their lack of common-sense and respect by breaking down the only shelter that ladybathers have at Mair's Pool. This shelter, although rudely constructed of tea-tree, has been a great convenience to ladies for some time past, in the absence of "something better, which, no doubt, the Borough Council will soon put in hand. "Several constant visitors to the park would willingly take in hand tho : In ashing of such idiots as take a delight in damaging either public or private property, to the annoyance and inconvenience of healthy-minded people."
