A LANCE-CORPORAL'S VALOUR,

LONDON, Novemiber 24
The Victoria Cross has been granted to Lance-corporal Fulliler, of the Welsh regiment, for gallantry on the 14th September, near Clievy. He advanced a hundred yards and carried Captain H-aggejrd,' who was mortally wounded, to cover under heavy rifle and machine gun fire. Haggard was the nephew of Sir H. Rider Hagg-u-d, the novelist.
