SYDNEY, Sept. 16,
Mr. Holman has announced that the Government is willing to accede to the request of the Imperial authorities to find relief for two thousand women refugees in Belgium and North France who are mostly the widows of those who have fallen in the war. The Government proposes that its employees contribute ten per centum of their salaries over £200 per annum to provide employment for men displaced by the war.
