BERLIN BUNKUM.
A VICTORY CLAIMED
ROTTERDAM, Sept. 15, The General Staff in Berlin claims
that the latest battle is so far favourable to Germany, as the French failed to break the centre.
They explain the' success of the Allies' Left as due to the falling back of the weak German right, consisting of three army corps./
The French had been thrown back upon Verdun, where the outworks had been captured by the Germans.
