SYDNEY, May 8 Mr Hickey (secretary of the New Zealand Federation of Labour) has addressed a letter to the secretary of the Australasian Federation of Labour, embodying a motion carried at the'recent conference in New Zealand suggest- , ing joining the Australasian , Federation for the purposes ■of solidifying the labour forces and proposing to call a conference of all unions on July 7, with the object of deciding upon a common line of action politically.
