* A TROUBLESOME CASE OF GASTRITIS CURED. Many people imagine they have heart trouble when really they are suffering from Palpitation caused by Indigestion. The food they eat fails to digest, and gives off gas. This gas inflates the stomach, causing it to press up against the heart and thus impedes the action of the latter. The only effective' remedy is RENZIE'S PEPSO. It difepels the gas and helps the stomach to perform its functions naturally. Mr. G. T. Estall, 85 Vivian street, says:— "I was troubled with Gastritis and was not able to eat anything solid without suffering with palpitation of the heart. I tried a bottle of RENZIE'S PEPSO, and the first dose had a marked effect. After five v doses 1 felt like a new man. It' is. needless to suffer when you can obtain such a spleudid remedy.—G. T. Estall." RENZIE'S PEPSO is sold by all chemists and stores at 2/6 per bottle. , Speaking to a reporter recently, Mr H. G. Ell, M.P., said that he had been looking into figures to see what j>racii' cal result the Customs reductions ma-Ie in i>ast years had, from the point of view of the consumer, saved last year. The returns showed that 5,173,384 gallons of kerosene were imported in 1912. That particular line had been made duty free in 1900, but before that the duty was 6d per gallon. Worked out on that basis, it would be seen that the amount of duty really saved to cue consumer in 1912 —and, to a great extent, that meant the householder—was £129,334. Similarly, regarding tea a great saving had been effected, and the benefits fell largely upon the family. When the late Mr Ballance came into office the duty on tea was 6d per lb. office the day on tea. was 6d per lb. In 1895 Mr Seddon reduced the duty to 4d per lb, and in 1903," under the Preferential Tariff Act, tea imported in bulk from British possessions came in duty free. In 1912, 7,658,0051b of tea was landed in New Zealand duty free, and the saving to the people, in the duty of 6d per lb was takm as the basis of calculation, meant a saving in that year alone of £191,450. The saving to the people in 1912 on these two lines alone amounted ot £320,784.

GOUT goes out when RHEUMO Is taken. This splendid remedy has cured thousands of sufferers, because It drives out the cause of the trouble —excess uric acid in tho blood. Try it 2/6 and 4/6 everywhere. fi:>
