WELLINGTON, April 9. Sir Joseph Ward addressed a packed meeting in the Town Hall last night. Mr Wilford, M.P. for" Hutt. presided.
Sir Joseph had an enthusiastic reception. He spoke in criticism of the promises and performances of''the. Reform Government. . •
At the conclusion of his speech a vote,of thanks and confidence was passed, and the -meeting ; closed by singing "He's a Jolly Good Fellow."
