At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last night a cable message from Victoria was read stating that there was great dissatisrespecting the possibility Trr New Zealand not competing at this year's Australasian championships "at Melbourne. The cable added that New Zealand might expect Victoria to refuse, to guarantee part of the cost of the American athletes' tour unless a New Zealand team was sent over.
