TWO MEN ELECTROCUTED..
NEW YORK, Oct. 2. A rain-storm flooded the subways of the city and stopped traffic for several hours Two persons were electrocuted while operating the electric tram system. The Brooklyn bridge pedestrian traffic was the greatest since the bridge opened, as the traction companies were helpless. Pour men were buried in a sewer, which caved in. They were rescued alive. Lightning fired an elevator railway train, but the heavy rain extinguished the flames before much damage was done. The property loss'runs into millions of dollars.
