OPUNAKE FIRE INSURANCES.
HAWERA, Oct. 3. The ascertained insurances in connection with the Opunake fire total £5695. Other insurances were effected, but are not at present obtainable. HAWERA, Oct. 3. The fire has stricken Opunake very badly. It will take the place years to recover. The approximate loss is £15,000.
